Star Wars Cakes

I was asked to do a couple of Star Wars cakes for two 7 year olds, which I happily agreed. I searched for hours for the "starw ars font" so that I could actually see what I could do for writing on the cakes in the "proper" font.
This cake was Chocolate with Fudge Filling

This cake was White with buttercream frosting and filling, covered in fondant.

Bohl Wedding

Also for this week, (yep, busy week) I did a wedding cake and mints for 100 people. The cake is a 4 tier marble cake with raspberry filling. It was frosted in buttercream, and covered and decorated in fondant. All the roses are handmade.
200 Cream cheese mints were also made. 1/2 were white almond flavored, and the other 1/2 were baby pink vanilla flavored mints. All were rose shaped.

Nurse's Pinning

Carrington had it's first class of home grown nurses graduate locally, and a pinning ceremony was also held this past week. I was asked to do 8 dozen cupcakes and a decorated cake for the occasion. I didn't get a pic of the cupcakes, but got plenty of the cake.
There were 2 dozen of each flavor of  cupcake and filling: Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese filling and frosting, Chocolate cake with Caramel filling and fudge frosting, lemon cake with lemon filling and cream cheese frosting, and almond cake with raspberry filling and vanilla frosting.
The cake was marble with fudge filling, covered and decorated in fondant.

Spongebob

So, I disappeared for a while, because I was REALLY busy with work, making cakes, and going to Georgia to see my brother graduate from basic training and AIT.
As soon as I got back from the hot, humidness of Columbus, GA, I went straight to work. First on my list, Spongebob.
While I do not enjoy watching the show, I do know that he's a pretty popular character, and is pretty darn easy to make!
This is a chocolate cake with whipcream frosting, and fondant decorations. Sorry the color is a little off... darn cell phone cameras!
